MCC offers ACT WorkKeys® assessments, including the National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®), which validates essential job skills, and paraprofessional testing to meet No Child Left Behind Act requirements.
Paraprofessional Certificate Assessments
Paraprofessionals work in schools with children from kindergarten through high school. They hold positions such as teacher's aides, library aides, computer aides, special needs aides, one-on-one aides, and others. The No Child Left Behind Act mandated that Paraprofessionals be highly qualified. MCC offers the WorkKeys Paraprofessional Certificate Assessments, as approved by the State of Illinois, as one way to fulfill this requirement.
